Welcome to HPCCPortal
HEAL Preventing Opioid Misuse and Opioid Use Disorder in Older Adolescents and Young Adults is an initiative launched in 2019 by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This HEAL Prevention initiative is designed to solicit research to develop, adapt, and test interventions and strategies to prevent initiation of opioid misuse and development of Opioid Use Disorder in at-risk older adolescents and young adults (ages 16-30).
The HEAL Prevention Coordinating Center (HPCC) Portal serves as the communication hub for HEAL Prevention research projects and other stakeholders, allowing for the storage, sharing, and monitoring of resources. It also is a secure web portal for the submission, processing, storage, harmonization, and analysis of data from the HEAL Prevention initiative. The HPCC will add functionality to HPCC Portal over the course of the initiative to meet the needs of the projects we serve.
